DFB is particularly suited to installations where safe, useable hot water is required. Once set, the outlet temperature remains constant and due to the failsafe nature of the lender, there is no danger of the water being delivered at a higher temperature. Not only is DFB one of the safest water heaters available today, it is also extremely versatile.
There is no cold water cistern in DFB - this has been replaced by a float switch and solenoid valve. When a tap is turned on, the solenoid valve allows the float switch to perform the same function as a conventional ball valve. DFB can be mounted within 20mm of the ceiling as there is no cold water cistern to maintain.
